My Teen is an Old Lady Who Turns Purple (& her little brother has arthritis, too)

*My 13 yr old is an old lady that turns purple* My 13 yr old daughter has Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, (Lupus) which means multiple overlapping autoimmune diseases. She has Dermatomyositis, & Juvenile Arthritis. Yup, arthritis. She turns purple when her hands and feet get cold, which can happen from A/C. She was first diagnosed at age 6. My 11 yr old son has Psoriatic Arthritis. All of these are Autoimmune Arthritis. We share so you can learn!

A note on my religious beliefs

I may make many references to God. I feel that it is important to point out that, though I would love everyone to believe what I believe, I know that isn't ever going to be the case. No one will change my mind on what I feel, and though I may be sad that others don't show my love for the Lord, it is their right to believe whatever they choose. I believe that we should love the sinner, hate the sin. Though I am Christian I have friends that are Wiccan, Atheist, Muslim, Catholic, etc. I do not feel as though it is my right to judge, nor do I care to be judged. That said, please don't take it offensively or personally if I discuss God. I try to give a lil' warning, but I don't always think of it.
